the weekend that was: Laid back. Chill. Not so stressful. Went to a district gathering for youth leaders, and a lot showed up. I think this is a good step for the Santa Ana District and its youth. Maybe we can start changing things for the better, and be more effective in challenging and ministering to the youth.

where i am at the moment: Tired. I’ve been tired a lot lately. It’s beginning to worry me a little, but not enough to go to the doctor’s. I hate going to see the doctor.

on my to-do list this week: We moved the new worship service to Saturday night. So i need to get things ready for that. I’m excited for the change of time, and hopefully we’ll be able to reach more people around our community. It’s an informal and intimate worship service.

procrastinating about: I have to do two sermons this week. Don’t know where to start. Well, for the alternative service, we’re doing a series, so I’m good with that. But for the traditional service, I should look in the lectionary.

book i’m in the midst of: still reading Jesus in the Margins by Rick McKinley. Also started re-reading Your First Two Years in Youth Ministry by Doug Fields. The book has so many good things to help me with. Even though I read it twice already, there are still some things that the book can teach me.

media that seemed to catch my attention this past week: We saw “Role Models” over the weekend. I absolutely loved it. The little boy was so hilarious. (and so foul mouthed. he was great) Am definitely looking forward to Quantum of Solace.

how i’m feeling about this week: I’m turning 28 this week. Yikes.
